| Nowhere is the phrase "love hurts" more appropriate than in describing the new romantic comedy Harim Kareem. Written by first-time screenwriter Zeinab Aziz, the movie tells the story of Kareem (singer/actor Kamar), whose overly jealous wife (Abdel-Aziz) has just asked for divorce. Prepared to do anything to prove his love to her, Kareem enlists the help of his former girlfriends, played by El-Beheiry, Ghanem, Abdel-Ghafour and Basma. But unfortunately, the love between Kareem and his ex-girlfriends begins to re-ignite and their current boyfriends begin to take issue with the hapless hero. |
