Mourning
by SS
Amr Diab, whose album was scheduled to hit the racks on August 17, decided to postpone the release date due to the terrorist attacks on Sharm El-Sheikh and the death of the Saudi King Fahd Bin Abdel Aziz. Even before Diab's announcement, Saudi Prince Walid Bin Talal, the owner of Rotana, had announced his intention to put a hold on the release of all albums in mourning of the Saudi king.
For the same reason, Saudi singer Mohamed Abdu has decided to postpone the release of his new album, in which he sings in Egyptian dialect. Abdu canceled his concerts and returned to his home country following the sad news.
